This condition cannot be cured and requires daily management to control the various symptoms that cause discomfort in the horse. Close and regular veterinary monitoring is essential, and medical treatment (pergolide) may be prescribed. The use of an appropriate dietary supplement can also provide the horse with additional comfort.
What happens inside the horse’s body?
In horses affected by Cushing’s disease, dopamine (which normally regulates the production of other hormones) is no longer produced. Without its regulatory role, many hormones such as ACTH are released in excessive amounts.
These hormones have various functions in the body, and this imbalance leads to the development of different clinical signs that cause discomfort in the horse (hirsutism, laminitis, muscle wasting, lethargy, etc.).
Supporting dopamine production and regulating the secretion of hormones such as ACTH helps restore comfort to the horse.

The formula contains no ingredients of animal origin and is colourant-free.
Indication for use.
Whether the horse is already being treated or not, EKYCUSH CONTROL can be used:
• For one-off support during high-risk periods (change of season, etc)
• Continuously throughout the year.

Amazing product
My pony has been showing signs for a couple of years as having the onset of cushions with him now being a veteran. Lethargic, losing condition muscle, weight, developing a thicker coat and sweating when there was not any reason for it. He had a blood test with the results showing he was still in the parameters of not having cushions but as an owner you tend to know your own animal and the signs. I decided to try Ekycush and it’s been the best decision I could have made. He’s got a spring in his step, more alert and back to how he used to be.
