Knowing what to look out for in your horse.
Know how to recognise the signs that could indicate a need for joint support: changes or difficulties in your horse's movements during effort (asymmetric gait, lack of spring, poles, etc.), hot joints after effort, stiffness or discomfort when cold, rigidity on hard ground, cracking sounds when the limbs are mobilised. Anticipation is key to ensure the horse a long career and a good locomotion throughout his life. Know how to anticipate demanding periods: competition season, change in surface, intensive training, growth spurt... Giving Ekyflex Arthro EVO one month before and during the key period will help you manage it the best way. Ask your veterinarian for advice.

As part of our ongoing quest for improvement, we have carried out a study on the development of symmetry of gait with Ekyflex Arthro EVO.
Study design : Internal observational gait symmetry study before, during and after use Ekyflex Arthro EVO over 30 days. The results show that Ekyflex Arthro EVO considerably improves the gait symmetry :

The well-being of a horse's joints depends above all on the integrity of the various components of the joint, namely:
- The cartilage, which acts as a shock absorber and interface to promote sliding between the two bones.
- The synovial fluid, which lubricates the joint.
- The subchondral bone, which absorbs shocks to the bone and prevents them from spreading to the whole skeleton.
The Ekyflex Arthro EVO formula offers triple protection of the joint by supporting the cartilage, synovial fluid and subchondral bone. Glucosamine, Boswellia Serrata , Peptagen II® (a mix of type II collagen precursor amino acids) and ASU nourish the cartilage to prevent its breakdown, while PAC (proanthocyanidins) target the subchondral bone.

Ekyflex Arthro EVO can be used as a support or all year round. The daily intake can be adapted according to the intensity of exercise and the needs of the joint (15 to 30g per day).
It is always preferable to anticipate periods of need to avoid the horse drawing on its joint capital. It is also completely compatible with the activity of horses in competition, as demonstrated by the use made of it by the members of our team.
