Myostem Protec is formulated to support the preparation for sport effort and after an effort. It helps promote the muscular strength of sports horses (antioxidants, amino acids, etc.).

After exercise, muscle cells will be more or less damaged depending on the horse’s ability to manage the free radicals induced by exercise. In order to support muscle cells from this phenomenon, known as oxidative stress, horses have two kinds of anti-radical defence mechanisms: enzymatic and nutritional, through antioxidant intake.

The Myostem Protec formula is truly innovative, as it provides SOD (superoxide dismutase), an antioxidant enzyme present in the horse's body, plus high concentrations of conventional antioxidants such as vitamin E and selenium.

Our advice
If you believe your horse has muscle stiffness or muscle dysfunction, give Myostem Protec two to three weeks before an event, and continue throughout the season. And can be used as a complementary feed for horses with an environment/lifestyle at risk of tying up or muscle disorders.
