Her career
Julie Simonet is a French rider specialising in eventing. Born into a family of eventers, she began riding at a very young age and has built up a wealth of experience over the years. She has particularly distinguished herself with her main lead horse, Sursumcord'Or, whom she has ridden since he was 5 years old. Together, they have progressed to 4L level competitions and have achieved numerous successes, including podium finishes at the European Young Riders' Championships and in major competitions such as the CCI4-L at Kronenberg , national events at Saumur and Le Lion d'Angers.
In 2023, Simonet rode several horses in 44 events, taking 16 podiums, including eight wins. As well as Sursumcord'Or, she has achieved amazing performances with horses such as Elton des As and Grand Soir. She aims to continue her progress in top-level events, while preserving the well-being of her horses.

Zzen flash is my competition essential. The handy syringe format means I can take it anywhere. I use the product 1 to 2 hours before the event to reduce my horses' stress reactions and get them off to a focused, calm start on the round.
